He Just Gets It.
That's what clients say. Here's what's behind it.
I'm Damian Brittleton. Brand strategist, designer, and the only person you'll deal with at Revive Creative. After 30 years working with professional services, construction, and specialist businesses, I've learned that most brand problems aren't design problems - they're clarity problems. Fix the clarity, and the design takes care of itself.
Built from scratch. On purpose.
Revive Creative started just after the 2008 recession - not by choice, but by necessity. The company I worked for went into administration. I'd recently moved to an area where I knew almost nobody business wise. I had one client: a London-based business that built restaurant and catering concepts for corporate and tourism clients, where I worked on the brand, design and tender submission bids.
If I could win serious work from a standing start, in a place where nobody knew my name - I could build something real.
That first client became the foundation. The work was credible, commercial, and demanding - exactly the kind of brief I'd go on to build a reputation around. Over time, professional services and construction became my core, not because I was pigeonholed, but because I'd worked alongside those industries long enough to understand how they think, what they need, and what generic brand work was costing them.
Today Revive Creative works with SME leaders across the UK who want a senior mind on their brand, not a production line.
Because most agencies solve the wrong problem.
Most agencies lead with aesthetics. They show you mood boards, talk about brand DNA, present three directions and ask you to pick one. The work looks good in a PDF. Then it hits the real world - your website, your sales collateral, your tender submissions - and something's missing.
What's missing is strategy. Specifically, the kind of strategy that starts with your commercial goals, not a colour palette.
A brand that doesn't help you win better clients, charge better rates, or open better doors - isn't doing its job.
That's the standard I work to. Every brief starts with where you want to be commercially, and works backwards to what the brand needs to do to get you there.
Straightforward. Senior. No surprises.
You deal with me from the first conversation to the final delivery. There's no account manager in the middle, no junior picking up the brief after the pitch, no handoff when the work gets complicated. If we do ever need third party inclusion for specialist tasks, we're fully transparent.
I ask the questions most designers don't - about your pipeline, your competitors, your best clients and why they chose you. Then I use the answers to build something with a job to do, not just a look to admire.
On AI
I integrate AI practically into my work and, where relevant, into client projects. Not as a shortcut - as a tool, just like a calculator or a mouse, that speeds up the right parts of the process so more time goes into the thinking that actually matters. If that's relevant to your brief, we'll talk about it.
